Job Description
- Physical Security oversight and leadership specific to programs, technologies and operational practices.
- Manage and update Physical Security Policy, Standard &Process development that enable more efficient and secure operating activities and business controls.
- Act as Physical Security subject matter expert and assess risk or potential impact to the current business model and identify solutions of future state processes.
- Establish and maintain key law enforcement relationships and protocols for both local and in country support for RSA operating locations.
- Supports cross-functional activities for travel incidents, personal accidents, emergencies and other security-related events.
- Supports emergency preparedness and response efforts.
- Plan and coordinate required corporate and site-specific physical training for key personnel and general employee populations.
- Coordinate response and advise the site leaders when security related events occur e.g. Demonstrations,Workplace violence etc.
- Partner with Facilities to ensure the site is maintained from a Technical perspective e.g. CCTV / Alarm, Access Control, Incident Response and assigned guard services are operating as expected.
- Manage, hire and oversee external security service vendors for RSA global events, in partnership with marketing & conference teams.
- Maintain travel awareness program and tracking of travel risks. Communicate to potentially impacted parties and assist with coordination of in country protective services and or secure transportation as necessary.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Certified Protection Professional or Certified Fraud Examiner or equivalent internationally recognized qualification
- Development, implementation and sustaining of processes at the sites covering Service level to ensure the security of the end to end business operations are protected in support of overall Security and Operational objectives.
- Strong English skills both oral and written; multi-lingual candidates preferred
- Capable of developing and executing presentations to Senior Management relating to key business initiatives within the Physical Security program.
- An ability to work with cross functional teams to solve problems is key.
- A good relationship with Law enforcement and Intelligence contacts is essential.
- It is imperative that the candidate has excellent computer literacy skills, an ability to write reports, create presentations in power-point and work with Excel spreadsheets.
- Ability to support issues off hours, nights and/or weekends.
- Ability to perform international travel up to 25%
