Job Description
We are looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design, and layout of ours and our clients’ websites. The Developer will provide analytical and programming support to us and our clients for the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of corporate, wholesale, and retail business websites. Web Developer will also be responsible for extensive search engine optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create a website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Cooperate with designers to match visual design intent
- Work with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager
- Maintain Strong Search Engine Optimization through Technical, On-Page, and Off-Page optimization
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in web programming
- Strong programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript or Ruby on Rails
- Strong understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
- Knowledge of relational database systems, Object-Oriented Programming, and web application development
- Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
- Advanced knowledge of Search Engine Optimization
- Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or related systems an asset
- Problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving and judgment abilities
- Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with individuals at various levels
- Must be able to work independently and as a member of a diverse team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities ad produce results within deadlines
- This is an overnight shift.
