Job Description
- Manage strategic accounts and facilitate the communication between manufactures and logistics providers.
- Classify products with HS classification for NAFTA purposes.
- Process special commodities such as FDA regulate articles, ADD/CVD entries.
- Prepare legal import documents for customs, bill of lading, USDA consumption.
- Advise clients on compliance issues including HTS classification, marking assists, and anti-dumping and wood certification.
- Complete knowledge of all documentation & procedure require for CBP clearance (air & ocean imports).
- Provide HTS classification of import materials used in production.
- Coordinate all aspects of air/ocean freight, abiding by export customs regulations and demonstrating knowledge in a team-orient, deadline-driven environment.
- Set up international transportation needs for customers, whether by full ocean container, LCL container load or air.
- Process remote location filing (RLF) and textile entries.
- Process RLF entries (file and customs releases of out port entries).
- Use different DHL site base computer systems.
- Synchronize shipments with DHL employees throughout the world for faster resolution.
- Examine various documents including invoices, bill of ladings, NAFTA, ITAR, shipping documents.
- Communicate with customers on container availability status including customs status, demurrage and eta to final destinations for all import moves.
Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in the same role.
- Very good English language
- Bachelor degree of any relevant discipline.
