Job Description
Aqarmap is looking to hire an English Reviewer /Copy Editor to be responsible for performing post-translation reviewing and editing of the content to ensure the translated content is accurate, along with ensuring language accuracy and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing the target text by comparing it to the source text, making sure that the translations provided are accurate, consistent, and coherent
- Correcting factual, logical, spelling, and grammatical errors
- Revising and editing translations to ensure that they conform to the set standards and guidelines
- Aligning the structure and style of translations with the quality standards and verifying conformity
- Conducting feedback sessions to translators to enhance performance
- Acting according to the feedback received from team leaders
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in translation or any relevant field
- 3+ years of experience in translation/revision
- Excellent command of both English and Arabic
- Excellent knowledge of translation and editing techniques
- Excellent writing skills and command of grammar
- Good real estate background is preferred
