During your tenure as a Consultant in Assurance, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

  • Effectively perform the technical components of risk assessments to provide an accurate view of the client’s current risk state
  • Applies quantitative and qualitative techniques (e.g., cycle-time analysis, Statistical Process Controls, Fishbone, benchmarking) and a solid knowledge of industry regulations (e.g., SOX, Basel) to identify process inefficiencies, risks, and control gaps
  • Assess and design internal controls by applying an understanding of internal control design frameworks and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to gather, synthesize, and analyze data using appropriate tools and technologies
  • Understand the client’s business, interpret sector trends, and learn leading practices
  • Effectively interact with colleagues and clients of varying backgrounds to effectively serve clients
  • Uses industry leading frameworks and tools to analyze client’s documentation and identify risks that require control assurance
  • Articulates client’s regulatory framework by leveraging Deloitte’s proprietary approaches and applicable audit standards and guidelines
  • Ensures findings and recommendations are aligned with the audit objectives by keeping in mind the engagement business context when performing technical work
  • Uses industry leading frameworks and tools to analyze client’s documentation and identify risks that require control assurance
  • Tests validity of client’s historical financial and non-financial information, leveraging relevant standards (e.g. ISAE 3000), as appropriate
  • Articulates client’s regulatory framework by leveraging Deloitte’s proprietary approaches and applicable audit standards and guidelines
  • Develops assurance reports to accurately present risks, related controls, and the effectiveness of those controls
  • Ensures findings and recommendations are aligned with the audit objectives by keeping in mind the engagement business context when performing technical work

Job Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or Industrial Engineering, MBA or a relevant Master degree or certificate is a plus
  • 2  to  3 years of experience. Experience in Risk Advisory is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge in MS office applications especially in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities in a deadline oriented environment and flexible work hours
  • Willingness to travel (required)
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Arabic is a plus
  • Ability to operate and understand excellent project and program management disciplines including production of project plans and key quality program deliverables
  • Strong administrative and numeracy skills and ability to analyze complex data with good attention to details
