Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent technical job experience.
- 2 – 4 years as a Linux Engineer/System administrator.
- Certified in RHCSA and Certified in RHCE is a plus.
- Working Experience with Red hat Portfolio.
- Working Experience on Linux Systems with its different distributions.
- Working Experience on Networking under Linux.
- Working Experience on Storage under Linux (LVM , Snapshot, ISCSI).
- Working Experience on Security of Linux (Firewalld, SELinux,..)
- Knowledge on Virtualization using VMWare
- Knowledge on Hardware Servers ,Blades , Storage, San Switches.
- Knowledge on Backup solutions like Veeam.
- Familiarity with Redhat Satellite, Ansible, RH Virtualization , Openshift , Openstack ,Cloudforms.
- Preferred Experience on DevOps tools: Ansible, docker ,Kubernetes
- Must have solid Oracle RAC and DataGuard experience.
- 2+ years of extensive experience with Oracle database installation / configuration best practices and Database upgrade/migration approaches.
- 2+ of experience installing, building, upgrading and supporting Oracle RAC environment, ASM, Grid/Cluster.
- Experience in Oracle DataGuard replication and physical standby for Disaster recovery
- Strong knowledge of OEM 12C grid monitoring configuration.
- Strong working experience with RMAN configuration, Job maintenance and backup & recovery
- Experience in database problem identification, problem diagnosis and resolution.
- Excellent communication – ability to explain a technical problem to management.
- Ability to work on high performing teams and deliver under pressure situations.
