Job Description

Digital Content Production 

  • Daily monitoring and supervising the quality of content scripts provided for online channels before they enter the production cycle. 
  • Make sure all content scripts, plans, and ideas delivered follow best script practices, content format and objectives, and excellent edit copies.
  • Linguistic and editorial review of scripts
  • Provide monthly and weekly content calendar that covers major set content pillars/categories and supervise the distribution of tasks on the content team. 
  • Be responsible for providing a creative content approach to produce high-quality, engaging, and viewable online content. 
  • Research, analyze, and provide direction on competitive similar industries and its developed content to enhance existing teams' plans and to inspire innovation.
  • Be able to give guidance and develop content that covers news for publishing websites and graphics, videos that cover Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok social media channels. 
  •  Weekly and monthly planning of assigned content tasks and work between content producers to generate the best resource outcome when it comes to time, skills, and quality of work.
  • Develop a plan of action that includes the content to be covered, the nature of coverage, and the content that will be produced
  • Plan for public events in the Kingdom and international days to be included in the content plan
  • Suggesting ideas for covering program content, ideas for events in the Kingdom, and general ideas
  • Confirm the creative guidelines and directions placed on designs, videos, and images for every content type
  • Stay up to date with new content types for social media, best practices, and competitors' content quality.
  • Organize training for  team members on new work patterns and various forms of development
  • Develop the team members’ skills in dealing with, writing, drafting, and constructing content.
  • Lead the monthly content production delivery report.

Leadership:

  • Supervise and lead the content team.
  • Delegate job responsibilities among team members and oversee that quality work is being completed within the agreed deadlines.
  • Evaluate the newcomers and the current team members according to the job standards
  • Deal with the client and act as a point of contact in operational matters.
  • Oversee that new techniques and processes are used to provide the best quality of service
  • Train and mentor the new joiners and entry-level entrants
  • Meet with team members on a bi-weekly basis to follow up on their performance and give them feedback accordingly
  • Suggest new ways of improving the quality of scripts and other project issues
  •  Work in collaboration with colleagues across different departments in innovate new ideas that will help the business to grow
  • Respond to the Content team’s vacation requests in coordination with the HR and Admin team, and make sure that they will not affect the workflow.

Follow-up and Reporting:

  • Follow up on the implementation of the content, starting with the conception to script production until and reviewing the final implementation before deliver.
  • Following up and enhancing colleagues' content quality, providing content guidelines, and regular meetings
  • Develop the scripts for videos, photos, news, and all forms of content and work on developing the production in coaptation with all other department colleagues
  •  Follow up the productivity of work based on the plan in terms of quantity and type of content and divide it on a weekly basis. Development
  • Follow up on the results achieved after publishing the content and constantly learn to develop it to increase reach and engagement on social media channels
  • Monthly work on enhancing the content and planning this user’s interest
  • Constantly develop content quality to increase social media engagement.
  • Follow up on Snapchat's performance in terms of weekly results and develop it continuously.
  • Coordinating with SBA and agreeing on content requirements or content development notes.
  • Reviewing the editorial and linguistic work of MENABloom's accounts
  • Follow up with the team in terms of their ability to develop the content and understand the results so that they develop the channels on an ongoing basis
  • Developing the team's skills in handling, writing, drafting, and building sentences

Job Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Content manager
  • Proficiency in MS Office and WordPress or other Content Management Software
  • Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences.
  • Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Expertise in social media content
  • Project management skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in Arabic. 
  • Strong Leadership skills: integrity, self-awareness, courage, respect, empathy, and gratitude.
  •  Communication skills: speaking appropriately to a wide range of people while maintaining good eye contact, demonstrating a variety of vocabulary, listening effectively, presenting ideas appropriately, writing clearly and concisely, and working well within a team.
  •  Administrative skills are a set of skills that enable an individual to perform basic administrative functions, and are based on the availability of the ability and appropriate knowledge for that. These skills differ from leadership qualities, including time management, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems.
  • Good understanding of search engines and social media, including knowledge of current marketing tools and trends.
  • Advanced writing and editing skills
  • Analytical skills: Intelligence based on abstract thinking and the ability to analyze and understand complex events and situations and draw conclusions accurately.
  • Creative thinking: using capabilities and soft skills to reach creative solutions and address issues from an original and non-traditional point of view. This is manifested in resolving conflicts between employees or workers or finding a new approach to work, carrying out tasks, and facing challenges.
  •  Solid knowledge using google workspaces and online apps and tools.
