Job Description

Tagaddod is pioneering in the field of waste collection technology. We are looking for hustlers to take what we are building to the next level. 

Becoming a People Acquisition Specialist at Tagaddod will make you in charge of finding the most interesting, dynamic candidates who bring an entrepreneurial spirit and a diversity of thought to everything they do. You’ll play an essential role in building and advancing an innovative, non-conventional, diverse and young workplace. 

Here are some of what you will be doing on the job:

  • Become Tagaddod's brand ambassador in the talent market.
  • Help develop hiring strategies and procedures in line with industry trends, as well as keeping informed of advancements in the field.
  • Help determine selection criteria, hiring profiles, and job requirements for vacant positions.
  • Work with internal departments to determine recruitment needs.
  • Source potential candidates through online company career portals, recruitment sites, job boards, social platforms, and any other means of media and/or networks.
  • Manage hiring processes.
  • Evaluate applications and screen candidates via calls or emails, as well as facilitating pre-interview assessments.
  • Compile interview questions and conducting in-person or video call interviews with shortlisted candidates.
  • Prepare hiring forecasts as part of the company's strategic planning.
  • Document processes and fostering good relationships with potential candidates and past applicants.
  • Lead the post-hire process, including onboarding and probation, to maximise the integration and success of new colleagues and to support probation review and extensions as necessary.
  • Support in the development of innovative OD and learning and development projects, programs and initiatives for the development of the company’s culture and values, management of change, employee engagement and wellbeing, talent management, leadership capability and all employee development related initiatives. 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, or similar (AUC and GUC graduates are preferred) 
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar.
  • Advanced knowledge of effective hiring platforms that attract suitable applicants.
  • Exceptional ability to screen candidates, compile shortlists, and interview candidates.
  • Experience in creating awareness of the company brand and establishing professional relationships with candidates.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
