Job Description

  • The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. 
  • The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
  • Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
  • Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  • Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
  • Obtains product market share by working with line managers to develop product sales strategies.
  • Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests
  • Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.
  • Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
  • Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
  • Maintains product management staff by training employees.
  • Responsible for the life cycle of the product, ensuring that everyone is following the product roadmap and that features are being released on time and are of a high quality.
  • Taking overall responsibility for the success of the product Ø contributing towards product strategy and vision.
  • Meeting regularly with all stakeholders, including product developers, marketing, customer service, finance and company heads.
  • Collecting, analyzing and responding to user feedback.
  • Managing one or more budgets Ø planning new features and changes to a product.
  • Attending conferences and events related to a product or sector Ø Implementing or supporting marketing campaigns.
  • Creating and overseeing development and project management processes

Job Requirements

  • Pharmaceutical, Medical, Science or Veterinary Education Background
  • 5-7 Years’ experience of pharmaceutical sales OR FMCG.
  • 2+ years’ experience as Product Manager, Pharmaceutical OR FMCG.
  • MBA holder is preferred
  • Product Management, People Management, Understanding the Customer, Product Development, Requirements Analysis, Pricing, Planning, Competitive Analysis, Sales Planning, Inventory Control, Financial Planning and Strategy
  • Self-motivated, and hard worker.
  • Experience working with designers, and marketing on consumer-focused products.
  • Flexibility in dealing with changing priorities and effectively multi-tasks across multiple initiatives/projects with rapid delivery of required materials and responses.
  • Excellent Customer relationship management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical and planning skills.
  • Strong Leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • High English and MS Office skills.
