Job Description
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to maintain financial stability.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial data and analysis for ongoing projects.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of proven experience in an accounting role, preferably within the construction or sports infrastructure sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards in handling confidential information.
- Willingness to work onsite in an office environment.
