Job Description
- Identifying information gaps and suggesting research topics to the Unit Head.
- Supporting the junior researchers and providing technical advice when needed.
- Contributing to the research design stage and agreeing on the methodology with the Unit Head before implementation by junior researches.
- Contributing to conducting some of the research activities such as the qualitative primary data collection (e.g. in-depth interviews and focus groups), in addition to the analysis and conclusion.
- Quality control of research conducted by junior researchers.
- Identification of relevant information to post on the e-platform, in cooperation with the Research Unit Head.
- Cooperation with liaison officers on the collection of existing data, information and research studies.
- Contribution to drafting the periodical progress reports
Job Requirements
- A degree in economics, political science, management, business administration, international development, or a relevant field.
- 5-10 years of experience in designing and conducting research, preferably in the field of micro, small and medium ‘s organizational development.
- Excellent knowledge of research methodologies; quantitative and qualitative.
- Proven experience in conducting analyses, drawing conclusions and recommendations, and report-writing and editing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Computer skills necessary to conduct all duties electronically.
- Proficiency of English and Arabic languages; written and spoken.
