Job Description

  • Planning, supervision and follow-up on all farm departments, as well as the daily activities and operations on the farm, distributing roles, following up the implementation of the agricultural plan and taking corrective measures in the event of any error or obstacles to work in order to achieve the goals of the agricultural and productivity plan set by the top management.
  • Participate in preparing the strategic objectives and the production plan for the farm in coordination with the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
  • Distributing the agreed goals to the managers and supervisors of departments to achieve the goals required of the company.
  • Following up on the implementation of the set goals while finding objective solutions to any work impediments and taking corrective measures for them.
  • Supervising all reclamation and cultivation work on the farm, preparing a plan for planting crops and their quantities, and setting schedules for planting and harvesting.
  • Planning and working on preparing the land for cultivation from plowing and planting, preparing a fertilization plan and cultivation, a preventive and curative spraying plan, combating pests and diseases, determining the seeds, fertilizers and pesticides needed to grow crops, and making the necessary inspection to receive them properly to implement the planting plan.
  • Supervising the irrigation plan for crops, determining the water needs necessary for the operating crews of irrigation stations and the various irrigation devices, and following up on the discipline of their operation, as well as the maintenance and repair work for them.
  • Full follow-up of the harvesting plan, drying operations, and shipping the full production to the factory or storage.
  • Field follow-up of all agricultural and service works, implementation of the work plan, monitoring the regularity of employment, presence on the site, adherence to work hours, distribution of work tasks to agricultural engineers, distribution of labor, optimal and economic distribution to implement the planting and harvesting plan and evaluate their performance.
  • Supervising and controlling the plan for the use of agricultural equipment, such as tractors, planting and harvesting equipment, to reach the desired goals of the mechanization and maintenance department.
  • Following up on the implementation of preventive maintenance plans for agricultural equipment and its technical validity in coordination with the Director of Mechanization Department.
  • Developing the necessary training plans to raise the efficiency of workers and engineers and holding periodic meetings with engineers and farm officials to discuss the elements and problems that may be the cause of delaying or delaying the implementation of the set plan and discussing how to solve it.
  • Preparing systems to motivate employees to achieve the goals of preserving the cadres and technical talents on the farm and submit those systems to the Chairman of the Board of Directors for discussion and approval.
  • Providing the Chairman of the Board of Directors with a weekly performance report on the implementation of the work program, the planting plan, the achieved percentage and the reasons for any deviation, developing the proposed methods and methods of treatment, and following up on their implementation.
  • Submitting monthly reports on the performance evaluation of the different departments in the farm and ways to improve work efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering or equivalent
  • Ability to Manage Time and Workload Effectively.
  • At least 10 experiences  in Farm Management .
  • The ability to make decisions in stressful environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Leadership Skills.
  • Familiar with GLOBAL G.A.P standards .
  • Must be able to manage and motivate teams.
