Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out the required preventive maintenance plans for tools & participate in its scheduling with the Tooling Manager.
- Directly supervise & coordinate staff daily activities.
- Assist in the operation of fixing malfunctioning tools & troubleshoot tools problems.
- Making Spare Parts.
- Participating in identifying the department’s tools, material & spare parts needs.
- Follow-up and record tool history in their records.
- Follow up on the spare parts stock for the tools.
- Abides by the health and safety procedures and the usage of preventive action responsibilities.
- Keeping tools maintained and organized.
- Abide by the company quality policy for work instructions.
- All other duties as requested from time to time.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- University Graduate or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
- Experience in Tool making and machining processes - Mold making experience is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to priorities and complete work assignments by specific deadlines.
- A strong relationship builder and capable of operating at all levels within the organization.
