WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a freelance VFX Supervisor capable of forming a small team of 2 to 3 freelance VFX artists, also in Egypt. The ideal candidate will supervise and deliver high-quality visual effects, meeting tight deadlines while adhering to Creatoria’s values. The VFX Supervisor will be responsible for:

• Building a quality team: Recruiting and coordinating a team of modelers, animators, and FX artists capable of working on diverse projects.
• Supervising the creative and technical process: Mastering the entire VFX production workflow, from modeling to final compositing, while ensuring the artistic and technical goals of the project are met.
• Meeting deadlines: Ensuring deliverables are provided on time and meet quality standards.
• Technical expertise: Having solid experience with industry-standard VFX software and being able to quickly resolve technical problems.
• Autonomy: Working with your own equipment and tools, along with a self-sufficient team equipped with the necessary tools to complete tasks.
• Effective communication: Collaborating closely with the Creatoria team to ensure that the vision and values of each project are well understood and executed. Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.

EXPECTED VIDEO STYLE

We are looking for videos with a visual style inspired by the Mesozoic era, with a strong photo-realistic dimension combined with stylized elements to evoke the origin and creation of the universe. The goal is to produce videos that captivate the audience with immersive visual effects while resonating with the spirit of creation and inspiration.

The videos will have the following characteristics:

• Video duration: They will be between 20 and 30 seconds long, with concise and impactful visual storytelling.
• Full CG or 3D integration into footage: Some videos will be entirely CG, while others will integrate 3D elements into live-action footage to create an immersive visual experience.
• Mesozoic animal modeling: Some videos will include the modeling and animation of creatures from the Mesozoic era, such as dinosaurs and other extinct creatures, for a realistic and spectacular result.
• Realistic 3D animations: The videos will feature realistic 3D animations, with dynamic natural environments that reflect the authenticity of nature and its elements.
• Special effects sequences: Some sequences will incorporate particle simulations (fire, water, wind, etc.), along with moving elements to bring the scenes to life and enhance visual immersion.
• Distribution: The videos will be distributed online on social media, requiring a strong visual impact to quickly capture viewers' attention in a digital environment.

We are seeking candidates capable of combining technical precision and artistic creativity to ensure videos that are both impressive and true to Creatoria's vision.

• Payment per video: Payment will be made upon delivery of each video, aligned with rates practiced in Egypt for VFX artists and supervisors.
• Opportunity for regular work: In this first phase, Creatoria plans to produce approximately 3 videos per month, offering regular work for the team.

Visual reference

• Technical: Provide a video of a VFX reference (film, series, personal project, online video, etc.) that shows the type of final visual quality you can deliver.
• Artistic: Provide a video (clip, film scene, series, online video) that particularly inspires you artistically. This reference should reflect your creative sensitivity, personal tastes, or what visually and emotionally moves you.

Compensation proposal

• Although the compensation is set per delivered video, we also ask you to submit a proposal for a monthly salary for a full-time commitment. This will help us assess the potential for closer and more continuous collaboration in the future.
