About the Role:
As an assistant Maintenance project manager, you will be responsible for proactively managing the various and complex issues of Railway maintenance and interface with National Authority for tunnels, Egyptian Company for metro management, RATP, Hyundai Rotem O&M business team, and sub-contractors (including Rotem SRS company) to ensure maintenance of the rolling stock fleet is conducted in best practice and meet the contract obligations. Details of job description is as below but not limited to:
● Interfacing
- Liaise with Rotem O&M Business team and Sub-contractors to manage issues related with maintenance activities.
- Participate in meeting with clients or sub-contractors.
- Write a report to HQ when needed or requested.
● Payment control
- Monitors payment status and expedite clients to receive outstanding amounts.
- Forecast payment schedule and check the payment claims in right time to prevent any slippage.
● Document Control
- Receives and issues documents (including letters) externally and internally.
- Responsible for managing master list for in/outgoing letters.
- Translate documents with Arabic-English language when needed or requested.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree qualification in relevant field.
- Working experience more than 5 years in project management field (Experience in rolling stock business is preferable).
- Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) background if preferable.
- Fluent in spoken and written in English is a must.
- Ability to build strong working relationships and good communication skills.
- Pro-Active nature, willing to learn quickly, and take new challenges.
- Computer -Literate (Including MS office).
- Available to visit clients and sub-contractors' office frequently.
