Job Description
We are an early stage transportation/logistics startup looking for a lead developer with the following qualifications:
- Completed a Computer Engineering degree or has some knowledge about computer hardware.
- Well-experienced in Javascript ES6.
- Knows ReactJS code or can easily learn it in a short time span.
- Experienced in Ruby on Rails or another similar MVC framework.
- Worked with RESTful APIs before on countless occasions.
- Can explain computer science terminology in simple terms to non-techy people.
- Has some knowledge or experience about IoT modules.
Preferred but not required:
- Has worked in the a tech-related logistics/transportation startup before.
Job Requirements
What you will be doing:
- Building two native apps with react native.
- Building a backend for mobile payment integrations.
- Building a fleet management system with Ruby on Rails or the MVC framework you prefer.
- Integrating the above with an IoT module (API documentation provided).
- Possibly managing a team of junior to senior developers in the near short-term.
