R&D Engineer

Main Job Duties:

• Contributes as a team member on development projects carrying out assigned responsibilities in a timely, diligent, safe, and professional manner.
• Gather necessary and useful information on ways to improve our product range and manufacturing methods.
• Leads the design and development of new product and product engineering and applies engineering best practices and tools.
• Contributes leadership in design analysis.
• Ensures quality in a product’s design for usability, reliability, functionality, marketability.
• Supports the organization’s intellectual property strategy by documenting data and independent, unique ideas that results from experimentation and concept generation activities.
• Provide input into product ideas under consideration for development.
• Perform design calculations and research materials for safe, durable and cost effective designs.
• Leads product design verification and validation to satisfy product and client requirement.
• Assist product engineers in ensuring smooth flow of production.
• Interface with other departments to assist in developing product specifications to meet application needs.
• To contribute, review and constantly improve on our design and testing standards.
