Purpose of the Job
Handle and satisfy the evolving the Company needs, throughout a continuous improved approach to the practice of risk management through the knowledge of international standards and best practices to deliver a significant change.
Accountabilities
- Manage the incident management function in order to insure proper handling for all operational risk incidents.
- Participate in setting out and updating Risk & Compliance policies and procedures.
- Raise awareness for all levels of the company’s staff about the necessity of the operational & Market risk.
- Review procedures, contracts to ensure that the processes are in line with the operational risk standards.
- Prepare the quarterly reports to be presenting to executive committee.
- Promote the role of Compliance & risk throughout the company.
- Participate in developing the fraud & money laundry unit by setting out its procedures that insure to save the company from any fraud activities.
- Periodically conduct business impact analysis to identify the operations critical activities and vulnerability for major disruptions.
- Facilitate testing plans to ensure that team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities in the event of the disruption.
- Ensure that the Company’s response to the disruption is communicated internally to the applicable parties.
- Identify internal and external threats that could cause a disruption and assess their probability and impact.
- Examine all new products proposals and provides comments and recommendations regarding the market & operational risk implication and the adequacy of proposed policies, systems and controls.
- Evaluate the proposed control environment of new contracts and recommend improvements.
- Examine all customer complaints and provide comments and recommendations in order to mitigate such risks from re-occurrence.
- Manage & ensure proper implementation of compliance policies & procedures for both internal & external purposes.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- A Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in operations & Market risk.
- A relevant degree in economics, accounting, Finance.
- Fluent English
- Strong computer skills.
- Preferred relevant professional certification or working towards certifications. Examples include: CRCM - Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager– Certified Public Accountant, – Certified in Risk Management Assurance.
