Job Description

Job Purpose


The job holder will be a member of the local Finance team in North Africa based in Egypt. This individual will be responsible for performing various local finance activities including but not limited to: Bookkeeping, supplier payments, cash remittances, taxation, and local corporate
governance requirements.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Repatriation of funds, banking
  • Liaison with 3 party providers
  • Payroll
  • Tax returns and audits

Key Interfaces
Fluent and constant interaction internally with colleagues at different levels and 3rd party suppliers as necessary.

Experience & Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Efficient organizational & time management skills
  • Independent worker
  • Highly numerate
  • Able to work in a small team and be flexible in terms of job requirements.

Qualifications (Essential)

  • University Degree
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Expertise / Specialist Knowledge (Desirable)

  • Min 2-3 years in a finance/accounting role
  • Fluent in Arabic
  • Qualified Accountant or Graduate in Finance and Accounting
  • IT literate with good Excel skills.
