Design Engineer - 10th of Ramadan City..

As a Design Engineer you will be a part of the Electrification Division and Business Unit Distribution Solutions based in 10th of Ramadan City; Egypt. You will support ABB’s business strategy by developing and managing a preferred supply base that enhances ABB’s competitiveness and success of our customers.

Tasks:

Your main responsibilities in this role will include:

• Performing all the activities related to assigned orders including preparation of drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Implementing latest ABB technologies related to the product and following ABB processes related to this activity.
• Technical studies and reviewing orders in hand to ensure that all client specifications are strictly followed.
• Interacting with clients and supporting clients in the favor of the company by promoting ABB products. Improving customer experience by collecting and resolving the customer complaints by ABB official tool which is CCRP.
• Working in cooperation with engineering manager, project management and planning in order to evenly load the factory production line. Clearing all the difficulties related to and comments related to the orders running in hand and assigning tasks to release the order for manufacturing.
• Monitor and analyzing the department Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
• Performing techno-commercial studies for selected offers.
• Visiting sites with service experts to give his technical support to either ABB service team or customer.
• Participating with the engineering team in promotion of ABB ability solutions especially in the digital MV SWG solutions.
• Performing all the tasks by applying ABB values.
