Job Description
For an international School, a school administrative director is required as a senior managerial position reporting directly to CEO, and shall demonstrate an understanding of the instructional and management codes and how to best supportthe instructional / academic functions. Administrative director is responsible for the school assets to be maintained and developed.
Administrative Director Job Duties:
- Directing and overseeing all supporting departments including; marketing, HR & reception, Accounting, supply chain, legal, IT, Housekeeping & Hygiene, Security & Safety, Cafeteria & Canteen, Maintenance, School clinic, and Transportation.
- Directs the development of departments plans with clear objectives and measures.
- Prepares budgets needed for departments under his/ her supervision, and monitoring its usages.
- Cooperates and coordinates with school principal to facilitate all needed support for academic functions.
- Provides policies, procedures and protocols for effective and efficient operations for all departments under his supervision, through proper alignment with school goals and objectives.
- Achieves financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analyzing variances.
- Managing school renovation, buildings maintenance, and expansions.
- Supports operations by supervising staff; planning, organizing, and implementing administrative systems.
- Maintains administrative staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
- Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Provides communication systems by identifying needs; evaluating options; maintaining equipment; approving invoices.
- Completes special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results.
- Improves program and service quality by devising new applications; updating procedures; evaluating system results with users.
- Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent
- From 15-20 years of experience , At least 5 years of them as administrative manager in language schools (preferred international schools)
- Age ranges from 35 to 45 years
- Post graduate studies in business administration
- Owns a car
- MBA is a plus
- Giza residents are preferred
