Main Job Duties:
- Develop and document requirements, functional specifications and user stories.
- From any given user requirements documentation, having the ability to design and develop test cases to verify product functionality.
- To use defect-tracking tool to report defects, track bugs, and verify issues posted by any of the team members.
- Writing clear and concise bug reports and scenarios.
- Communicate defects or tasks clearly to software developers, outlining how defects are identified and the possible causes.
- To perform testing activities and assigned tasks even in case of lack of test cases while adapting to rapidly changing and evolving requirements.
Job Requirements
- Experience 1-2 years
- Good knowledge in SDLC & defect life cycle
- Knows when to consider the task/story DONE
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
- Experience in using bug reporting tool "preferred JIRA"
- Organizational skills with ability to handle various tasks concurrently
- Attention to details
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field "preferred"
- ISTQB certificate "preferred"
