Position Title:
Senior Back end Developer (PHP)
Reporting to:
General Manager
Position Basic Function:
The daily addressing and overseeing of the ongoing development needs of Iqraa’s platform
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, and maintain cutting-edge web-based applications.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs.
- Integrate with third-party services
- Convert ideas into pleasant-to-use web pages
- Solve complex performance problem and architectural challenge.
- Manage servers, databases and responsible for data security.
Job Requirements
Basic Profile Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in any humanities or related field
- Very good knowledge of the English language
- Very good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Familiarity with complex reports and ability to handle raw data
- Hard work, dedication, and attention to detail
Technical Skill Requirements
A perfect candidate for this job should have:
- The ability to write a beautiful, maintainable, well-documented code is essential.
- Proficient in Native PHP.
- Proficient in PHP Object Oriented programming.
- Experience with Laravel 5 PHP Framework.
- Code with scalability and security in mind.
- Experience in MySQL/SQL.
- Proficient in Git.
- Awareness of design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, twitter etc.).
- Familiarity with payment online APIs.
- Familiarity with JavaScript including Node.JS is plus.
- Good Knowledge in HTML, Bootstrap, and CSS.
- Good Knowledge in jQuery and Ajax.
- Hands-on the latest web technologies and web standards.
