Job Description
Main Responsibilities
Acquisition:
- Conduct market scans and hunt for potential sellers to onboard on Jumia
- Pitch Jumia’s value proposition to sellers, negotiate and close commercial agreements
- Support Head of Category in meeting the monthly target of live sellers
Vendor Management:
- Manage the relations with mid-sized vendors and develop business plans for them
- Weekly communication with vendors and negotiating new deals ad offers
- Negotiating the best offers on weekly basis to include in the weekly commercial plan
- Support Head of Category in planning of periodical campaigns by collecting offers, managing onsite exposure and filling out required documents
- Follow up with other departments on vendor’s issues resolution till problem is solved
Job Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Very strong excel knowledge
- Preferred to have 1-3 years of commercial experience.
- Fashion background is a plus
