Job Description
- We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of mobile, apps aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. The main responsibilities will be the
- Development of high-performance Android applications and their integration with back-end services.
- Commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build applications for the Android platform
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of Android experience
- Proficient with Java.
- knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Familiarity with SQLite database and local storage.
- Familiarity with RESTful and WebSocket APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Solid understanding of Android app life cycle.
- Familiarity with fire base, cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Experience with Git
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Experience in developing AR applications is a huge plus
- Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerators
- Experience in developing disturbed web applications is a plus
- Experience in development using cross platform development tools is a plus
- Hotlink knowledge is a plus.
