Job Description

  • A key member of the management team, and a culture creator alongside the CEO; your mandate is to make the company’s products most appealing to banks, financial institutions and their customers.
  • To succeed in this B2B2C role, you need to have worked in a consumer marketing position (preferably the banking industry) and know how to create effective marketing plans that drive sales growth and have a positive ROI on their investment.

You will:

  • Develop a brand and product innovation pipeline alongside the CTO and CEO, ensuring that product features address customer’s needs and requirements.
  • Work alongside the sales team to generate sales and customer leads through digital marketing platforms, and at industry events.
  • Be the custodian of the brands and software products that are being launched.
  • Analyze competitive market data, and spot industry trends.
  • Be comfortable developing advertising, digital advertising, copywriting, hiring and briefing communication and PR agencies.

Position Brief

  • Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the corporate-wide marketing strategy for the company. This position oversees brand management, agency relationships, and external communications, including media relations. This position will be responsible for managing initiatives that support the company’s mission, growth and culture strategies. This position may require travel to various locations on a frequent basis.
  • The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing marketing plans and implementing marketing strategies for the company. He will be in charge of conducting market analysis, segmentation, and positioning, and will be developing communication strategies, and implementing various marketing programs across the company and the various divisions.
  • Plan and revise marketing activities in coordination with sales department.
  • Analyze efficiency of existing marketing campaigns and develop pragmatic solutions within budgetary constraints.
  • Increase exposure of projects online and in social media.
  • Find and manage third party suppliers for delivery of marketing materials and services.
  • Identify exhibitions, trade delegations, conferences and promotional events and organize attendance.
  • Act as a point of contact with PR agency and business organizations.
  • Achieve and report on assigned marketing targets.

Job Requirements

  • University degree from a reputable institution in a related field (eg. Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Software Engineering)
  • Detail oriented and Deadlines devil. (Project management skills)
  • Strong data and quantitative skills
  • Fluent in Arabic and English. (French and/Or Spanish would be a plus).
  • Problem-solver, multi-tasker and team player.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Google (Docs, Sheets, Presentation), and Slack
  • Able to set, manage and report on budgets and marketing campaign ROI.
  • Experience with online marketing, including social media and content marketing.
  • Understanding of PR and media relations.
  • Frequent travel (25%)
