Summary/Objective This position
- Envisions product development and manages projects through completion; analyzes, designs and develops software enhancements and new modules; manages development project from initial design through testing while providing strategic management direction. Essential Functions
- Exercises judgment and discretion in overall project management by prioritizing, planning and tracking project progress
- Manage source code control and Deployment on customer side remotely.
- Demonstrated ability to attain the knowledge of the company's software development strategic objectives and design procedures.
- Significant understanding and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the software engineering and programming field
- Designs, develops and modifies programs, including prototypes.
- Guide, coach and mentor software development engineers.
- Researches product development options and provides analysis for product direction.
- Prepare life cycle for different projects inclusive of research, development, design, evaluation, testing along with delivery to product management.
Job Description for General Manager
- Consults with internal departments to identify customer needs and include into project objectives. Provides support regarding product development to internal departments.
- Manages and directs different teams of software developers groups. Evaluates employee performance, sets expectations and goals for department and individual staff members, recruits, disciplines and trains staff.
- Creates related documentation.
- Manage and execute software development projects from beginning to finish.
- Involve in strategic plans to accomplish technical as well as business with leadership chain, team and with customers.
- Perform closely with Engineers and Developers throughout organization to influence product development assisting or improving products.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a focal point between/and manage technical team (.Net Team Development and Mobile Team Development)
- Deliver product (software) to client/s and manage customer expectations and handle complaints
- Act as focal point between client and technical team, complete deliverables and project documentation, and manage timelines and budget
- Update all stakeholders about project status and progress through periodically generating precise, clear and sufficient reports that is understood by all of them
- Manage team members and work and reporting relations between them closely
- Evaluate team members’ strengths and weaknesses, create learning paths and development plans independently
- Monitor and follow up on execution of project stages to ensure smooth running and proper delivery of product
- Plan projects, provide documentation, and continuously update and keep tracking progress.
- Continuous improvements of processes (codes, designs, etc.) to deliver the product in a time manner and according to client specifications and requirements
- Following up with the QA Manager.
- Manage the operation of running software and the production of new features and releases in a smooth way that improves and prevents release conflicts
- Resolve complex problems independently or through the management of others
- Manages the development projects to meet business objectives
- Evaluate and coach team to continually improve their performance as both technologists and employees .
Job Requirements
Job Specifications:
- Experience Needed: 15+ years of experience in leading software development projects.
- TOGAF Certified
- Working knowledge in .Net, ASP.net, Java, C++, and node. Js, MVC
- Agile development experience.
- Job Type: Full Time
- Languages: English and Arabic Fluency
- Computer: Excellent Excel User and typing speed skills
- B.S. in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience.
- M.Sc. computer science, information systems or equivalent experience will be preferred.
- At least Four years of experience developing association software or six years of experience developing other software with project management experience.
