Job Description
- Assist the Financial Manager in preparing financial reports on a regular basis.
- Assist the Financial manager to implement and maintain suitable internal control system.
- Conducting detailed analysis on the follow up reports generated from the database to ensure accuracy.
- Reviewing the financial reports, match all accounts and making suitable correction for data entry.
- Follow up cash flow by tracking transactions, forecast cash payments and preparing internal reports to anticipate challenges arising from limited cash flow.
- Supervise financial transactions within the company to ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded filed and reported, no discrepancies in reports and reconcile any identified discrepancies or errors.
- Interact regularly with financial staff and heads of sections to ensure systems are up to date.
- Working with business heads to prepare budgets and track profit/loss performance by units on a consolidated basis.
- Creating solutions to new financial challenges by applying financial/treasury knowledge.
- Providing advice on financial matters impacting on the company as a whole.
- Identify control weaknesses on current accounting procedures and made recommendations to improve accuracy of financial tracking and reporting.
- Suggest and implement updates and improvements to accounting systems.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree major in financial accounting.
- Post graduate degree in accounting is preferable.
Experience:
- Experience from 7-10 years.
- Experience in the same sector is preferable.
Skills:
- Analytical and computer skills. (Advanced in Excel – ERP Knowledge).
- Multitasks and work under pressure.
