Job Description
- Receiving purchase requisitions from within the factory and assigning them according to their type.
- Contact suppliers for quotations.
- Implementing purchasing plan and follow up.
- Follow up department’s approval for quotations sent from suppliers.
- Negotiation with suppliers
- Issuing purchase order
- Give feedback to the stakeholders with the estimated time of arrival of the shipment in our stores after reviewing the details with the Logistics.
- Give feedback to the financial department with the expected payments in the coming months with their time, amounts and terms.
- Handling payments of orders
- Receiving from suppliers and revising the Payments to be authorized and accepted.
- Request the direct transfer from the financial department or cheques in case of local.
- Request and issue the L/C from the banks in case of foreign purchasing
- Follow up banks to implement the payments
- Send copies of these telexes to the supplier
- Follow up suppliers&shipping details
- Follow up documentation sending
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Evaluating suppliers according to ISO requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any related field
- 2-3 years of experience within same field
- Knowledge of purchasing processing & procedures.
- Excellent verbal / written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent leadership, planning & problem solving skills.
- Ability to analyze & attention to details
- Ability to work well through others.
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
