Job Description
- We are seeking an analyst with strong experience in fraud detection, investigation and prevention in the mobile carrier space.
- This is a highly visible role requiring strong customer and internal stakeholder interaction.
The primary responsibilities of this role will be:
- Applying knowledge of existing Telecom Frauds in the detection of sophisticated fraud and anomaly types across multiple operators.
- Analyzing and working of Alerts from different queues.
- Keeping detailed logs of actions taken and work completed.
- Resolving queued cases within the service level agreements with stakeholders.
- Influence and direct fraud and security awareness training
- Prioritize and investigate alarms to identify unusual patterns and trends.
- Notify and communicate with stake holders of cases identified
- Identify improvement opportunities.

Job Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in fraud detection, such as in the telecom or financial domain.
- 3+ years’ experience in the telecoms fraud space.
- Excellent knowledge of telecom fraud types such as subscription fraud, dealer fraud, never pay.
- Excellent skills in investigation, analysis, and resolution of different fraud types.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Self-motivated with strong capability of fast learning.
- Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills.
- Experience using telecom fraud detection systems.
- Familiar with telecom data types eg: CRM data, call records, customer data.
- Proven experience working with sensitive data.
- Ability to self-prioritize work while managing numerous real-time queues.
