Job Description
- As a Lead, you are responsible for managing a small team OF developers, testers or engineers and drive delivery of a big data projects (Delivery/Maintenance/Testing)
- You may serve as entry level specialist with expertise in particular technology/industry domain/a process /application/product.
- You are responsible for the functional/technical track of a project. Job requirements not limited to,
- Leading and mentoring developers
- Engage and coordinate with client’s teams in order to facilitate projects development, delivery, and support
Job Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree with an emphasis on Computer Science or Engineering
- Work experience:10 Years
- 3-7 years working experience in a technical lead or project management
- Min. 5 years of Experience working with relational databases and MPP
- Min. 2-4 years of Experience developing solutions on Hadoop components
- Ability to think outside the box and understand the big picture thought process
- Ability to communicate clearly to business owners
- Experience with Java or a programming language required
- Working experience with Unix/Linux
- Data Mining/Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence experience
- Well understand big data coding using big data tools and techniques of the following technologies:
- Spark/Scala
- Spark Streaming
- Impala SQL
- Solr
- Streamsets
- Good understanding and experience in data management domain:
- Data Relationships (ERD)
- Data Integration (ETL)
- Data Processing (Transformation and Aggregation)
- Understanding business problems to ensure projects are leveraging the appropriate technology and analytical tools in the delivery of a comprehensive solution
- Understand the business goals/needs while utilizing big data technology to ingest and analyze large amounts of data
