Job Description
- The Mobile Application Developer serves as a lead technical resource on the mobile team and participates in all phases of the mobile development life cycle.
- Analyzes complex business and technical problems and shapes and delivers the company’s new mobile applications.
- Analyzes, configures and tunes the Company’s mobile applications and is considered the subject matter expert on mobile application and related technologies.
- Enforces software development standards and mentors less experienced mobile developers.
- Mobile application software development, design, and prototyping.
- Contributing your awesome programming skills to develop highly innovative, consumer-facing iOS and Android apps. Writing clean, maintainable code and performing peer code-reviews.
- Partnering with web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps/web.
- Partnering with UI/UX to build the interface with a focus on usability features, creating compelling mobile device specific user interfaces and experiences.
- Optimizing performance for the applications and web.
- Remaining up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Having a background in other platforms such as (Flutter/Cross-platform).
- 1-3 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK & iOS, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Experience on RESTful APIs to connect Android & iOS applications to back-end services.
- Strong knowledge of Android & iOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Understanding of Google’s Android & iOS design principles and interface guidelines.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
