Job Description
Responsibilities
- Review of software requirements
- Support the lead in estimation and planning of testing activities
- Preparation of test cases and test data
- Execution of test cases and test data
- Meeting organization testing metrics such as productivity, defect removal efficiency
- Reporting of defects
- Preparation of test status reports
Job Requirements
Competencies Section 1:
- Technical background and an understanding of the SAP Application Systems
- Testing Methodology Stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Bug Life Cycle
- Developing, Updating and Maintaining Test Suites, Test Cases, Test Data
- Mapping Test Cases with Requirements, Generating RTM and Test Results using tools such as HP ALM/Quality Center
- Understanding of Testing Metrics
Competencies Section 2:
- Automation Testing using Selenium or HP UFT with HP ALM
- Development/scripting skills in common languages like Java/VBScript
- Hands on experience in configuring/running automated test script from ALM
- Developing Automation Script (e.g. Java/VBScript) in Selenium/UFT utilizing Shared Object Repository and Descriptive programming in different Automation Frameworks
- Automation frameworks like Data driven, keyword driven, Hybrid
