Job Description

The Business Development Manager’s primary remit is to support the Chief Commercial Officer. You will be responsible for researching and maintaining the database of potential corporate clients and for pitching to these clients while strictly adhering to the corporate guidelines. The below describes the MAIN DUTIES of the position:

  • Responsible for researching and maintaining a database of potential corporate clients, establishing direct contact with key persons
  • Introducing the Quintessentially service and corporate offering to potential corporate clients
  • Create/edit presentations for potential corporate partners, according to the corporate identity and marketing team guidelines
  • Monitor and update the Corporate pipeline on CRM system
  • Attend meetings with prospective corporate clients with Chief Commercial Officer
  • Create and maintain task lists and timelines for new corporate partnerships
  • Assist in follow up on contracts for new deals
  • Assist with all branding activities for new partnerships
  • Liaise with Operations Manager to create new modes of operation and training documents for new corporate deals – to ensure efficient execution of SLAs of new partnerships
  • Liaise with Benefits Manager for new benefits and/or newsletters for new corporate partnerships (if applicable)
  • Proactively identify and research upcoming conferences and events for networking purposes
  • Networking and follow up on leads generated from the Service team or Sales team

Job Requirements

  • Work experience (2-3 years) in any of the following roles: Business Development, Retail/Sales, B2B Account Management
  • Work background in any of the following sectors/areas: Real Estate/Property; Big-Ticket Items (luxury automotive, yachts, jets etc.); Hospitality, luxury travel & leisure; PR & Advertising (niche market)
  • Outstanding project management skills – effectively manage projects and tasks from initiation to completion
  • In-depth understanding of the requirements involved in the lifestyle management of affluent, HNWI and UHNWI.
  • Creative problem solving and outstanding organisational skills with close attention to detail
  • Strong business acumen and commercially astute.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint and Excel, working knowledge of CRM is a plus
  • Excellent written & oral communication - fluent English and Arabic is a MUST. Other languages are advantageous
