Math Teacher - GRE/GMAT/SAT

General Purpose

To plan, organize and implement an engaging instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop their understanding and ability to answer math section in international exams; SAT, GRE and/ or GMAT

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities include:

• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences that lead to a better understanding of math concepts for the SAT, GRE and/or GMAT
• Develop lesson plans
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
• Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities
• Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs
• Use relevant technology to support instruction
• Observe and evaluate student's performance and development
• Assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments
• Provide appropriate feedback on students’ progress
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
• Participate in department meetings
• Keep updated with developments in subject area, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities
• Prepare tests, examination papers, and exercises
• Devise, write and produce supplementary materials including online and available software
• Attend and contribute to teacher development training sessions when applicable
