Job Overview:
- Develop and implement a product and sales strategy for Payment Enhancement Solutions (PES) products within Network Solutions across MEA
- Define PES and develop Go-To-Market plan across key Geographies / Products.
- Provides design specifications for and develops new products and services or their components.
- Researches new technologies and competitive products to develop additional product ideas and enhancements
Major Accountabilities:
Product Development
This role will define the product go-to-market strategy together with country teams in for PES products by:
- Growing platform revenues in MEA.
- Identifying and driving key sales opportunities in partnership with local country teams
- Complying with the New Product Development/Go-To-Market process including PME from concept through launch.
- Developing and presenting business cases supporting new product concepts or product enhancements
- This role also includes managing the communication and training programs to educate the MEA internal customers about PES products
- Using market knowledge to influence product strategy, product roadmaps and priorities and cross-product integration
- Aligning product roadmaps and timelines to ensure the PES products are well positioned to support ongoing initiatives and holistic Mastercard development requirements
- Develop a commercial relationship with the MC business partners (Sales organizations and Global teams) & supporting the MEA account teams on the execution of the PES products and value-added solutions strategy.
Financial
- Deliver on the yearly revenue budget for the PES products.
- Develop the yearly budget in coordination with the regional C&I and the global PES products team.
- Regularly track performance against budget and investigate and analyse variances (positive & negative)
Additional accountabilities include:
- Developing reporting, associated MIS and contribute to developing and implementing strategic business plans through the provision of appropriate processing and market intelligence.
- Provide subject matter expertise on PES products to country teams and expert sales specialists/business development teams in MEA. Participate in Customer events and conferences as the regional expert.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience. Advanced degree desirable.

- Demonstrable experience in product conceptualization, design and development, and delivery.
- Understanding of payments and payment processing.
- Self-motivated with an ability to interact and coordinate effectively with internal & external business partners; ability to work collaboratively as a team player in a highly matrixed environment across functions and regions
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience in translating strategies into product launches and implementation plan for scaling new products in a market
- Excellent strategic thinking and analysis skills and a proven track record of creating solutions that increase revenue
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills plus the ability to deliver compelling presentations
