Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide financial analysis and decision support to the category marketing team and counsel them on financial matters that impacts short term results and strategic decisions.
- Support the financial planning, forecasting and reporting processes for the defined categories and geographies including annual plan, monthly updates and reporting on actual results.
- Prepare in-depth and insightful analysis of business results, including identification of opportunities and risks together with recommendation for actions to address and submit commentaries analysis to FP&A regional team.
- Review major marketing proposal (new product, advertising, promotions, pricings and downsizing actions) and challenge assumptions, projected financials and business results to ensure most effective use of resources within the region.
- Review and approve advertising and promotion expenditures for the defined categories and geographies, ensure that category finance team establishes appropriate spending and budgeting controls in the geographies, review trade spending that falls outside pre-approved limits and maintain strong linkage to area/country sales controllers.
- Facilitate open and timely communication of financial results and brand/category challenges and issues to area/geographic management (general and financial management)
- Analyze Pricing Actions needed to cover Commodities/Forex and to enhance Margins.
Job Requirements
- University degree.
- 5-6 years of planning experience for financial planning & analysis.
- Fluency in English & Arabic.
- Proficiency in MS office.
- Experience of working in a multicultural teams and environment.
- Team Player; ability to support and lead to achieve common goals.
- Strong Communication and Presentation skills.
- Problem solving: Proactive and resourceful in solving problems, offering innovative and practical solutions in dynamic environment.
