Job Description

  • Planning Project Resources: making a feasible plan that achieves the goals and objectives of the project and aligns with the organization’s overall business strategy. Part of the plan is defining the project’s scope and determining what resources are available, estimating time and financial commitment, as well as how to monitor and report on the project’s progress.
  • Managing the production of the required deliverables and preparing and maintaining project, stage and exception plans as required
  • Assembling and Leading Project’s Team: Take a leadership role with an existing team or create one. The PM is responsible to assign the team tasks and deadlines, give them the tools to collaborate and don’t get in their way by micromanaging every activity. Meet regularly and get status updates to chart their progress, while reallocated resources as needed to avoid blocking team members or overburdening them.
  • Time Management: The project manager defines, schedules and accurately estimates the task duration to develop and maintain a realistic schedule.
  • Budget: Plan the proper funding for the project and keep the project within or under the estimated figure
  • Quality and Satisfaction: Deliver to the stakeholders what they expected and keep constant communications with them, reporting on progress and being open to their feedback to keep them happy and coming back to you with future projects.
  • Manage Issues and Risk
  • Monitoring Progress: Constantly measures the projects and compare those metrics against the plan you created. The PM must have a way to collect project data, such as status reports from your team, to see if the actual progress of the project is meeting what you had initially planned.
  • Monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary. And maintaining an awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact
  • Reporting and Documentation: Documentations, along with all paperwork, must be collected, signed off on and archived by the end of a project, which provides a history that you can revisit when planning for a similar project in the future.
  • Conducting a project evaluation review to assess how well the project was managed
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Expert-level proficiency in projects management.
  • Able to understand business needs and concepts.
  • Prior experience administering or working on educational technology projects
  • A strong communicator, both in writing and spoken communications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
  • Minimum 3 years experience in senior positions in the field of Educational tech. or 5 years experience in technology related projects.
  • Highly skillful in Microsoft Project and/or other project management tools.
  • Good knowledge of Agel methodology and scrum mastery.
