Job Description
- You will manage mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms.
- You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure.
- Lead, architect and manage our app development team and deliver new features to them
- Translate epics, features and stories into technical solutions that meet business needs
- Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
- Suggest new improvements to advance the business all the way through implementation
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the app
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Job Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- 6+ years strong technical experience in JavaScript
- Mobile application development within the React Native ecosystem (Redux, Redux Saga, Redux Persist, Flow, Jest)
- Sufficient native Android and iOS proficiency to link 3rd party React Native libraries and dependencies
- Strong understanding of Android Studio is preferable
- Experience with XCode Instruments is preferable
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience working in an agile delivery model
