Job Description
Duties of the IT Section Head can include network management, software development, and database administration. IT Section Head may also provide technical support to a business or an organization's employees and train non-technical workers on the business's information systems.
- Supervising & supporting the IT team
- Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
- Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
- Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).
- Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.
- Testing and evaluating new technology.
- Running regular checks on the network and data security
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
- Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
- Designing training programs and workshops for staff
- Conducting regular system audits
- Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
- Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
- Managing and reporting on an allocation of IT budget

Technical Skills
- Very Good Administrator for Windows, and Office Products.
- Very Good Surfing Skills on the internet.
- CCNA, CCNA Security & MCSA
- Fortinet experience (preferable).
- Very Good in C++, Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JSP.

- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university preferably Computer Science, Engineering or Computer and information.
- Very good follow up skills.
