Role description

• An efficient assistant for a teacher, who is able to manage and coordinate students effectively.

Main activities

• Deliver tailored teaching activities to students in small groups

• Make sure that students engage in learning and stay on task during the lesson or activity.

• Support the social and emotional development of students, reporting any issues as necessary

• Manage challenging student behavior if any.

• Carry out administrative duties such as preparing classroom resources

• Guide and monitor student progress

• Provide support outside of your normal classes, such as helping during exams.

• Help with boarding duties as per schedules such as supervising meals/sports and revision sessions

• Assisting extracurricular activities

• Cover teachers when they are on leave
