Job Description

  • The People Manager will be required to build and lead an exceptionally talented and passionate team of people specialists. This team will collectively work to deliver on the design, development and implementation of an organization wide People Management System, that aligns with the strategy and vision of the Senior Leadership Team.

The People Manager and team, will be required to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Establish a recruiting, online testing, interviewing and onboarding program that aligns with the needs of each type of role for each of the businesses, including training a small junior team on candidate selection and conducting and analyzing screening & first interviews.
  • Manage the overarching organizational departmental planning & structure by creating job analyses, requirements and job descriptions for all positions within the business, in collaboration with each department head.
  • Supervise the hiring/ recruitment processes to ensure that all staffing needs across the businesses are met in a timely manner.
  • Prepare & periodically update, all relevant human resource policies and procedures in the formats required by local authorities for each area of the businesses.
  • Ensure each of the businesses is compliant with all necessary labour, insurance, pension and tax laws & regulations, by having an exceptional knowledge of these, and applying them where appropriate across all areas of the businesses.
  • Select and recommend an agile system for maintenance of all types of employee attendance, data & relevant records to comply with local laws & authorities regulations.
  • Contribute on the development of a performance management and improvement system.
  • Contribute on the development of a training and development system.
  • Manage internal employee relations & internal communications, ensuring that all relevant information is being cascaded down from Senior Leadership to all teams.
  • Contribute to the design of an organization wide salary, compensation and benefits scheme, that is market competitive for each department / business to attract exceptional talent to fulfill staffing requirements.
  • Ensure that all necessary employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health processes are implemented across the businesses, in accordance to local authority.
  • Sign off on prepared monthly payroll statements, and ensure they are fulfilled in collaboration with the accounting team.

Job Requirements

Required Professional & Personal Skills:

Professional:-

  1. Language Skills:
    • Excellent command of both Arabic and English (verbal & written)
    • (Knowledge of French is a bonus.)
  2. Computer Skills:
    • Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite (word, excel, powerpoint).
    • Proficiency in use of email software tools.
    • Proficiency in use HR software tools.
  3. Interpersonal & Communication Skills:
    • Exceptional ability to relay in information verbally in a concise and precise manner.
  4. Reporting:
    • High proficiency in preparing & presenting reports to Senior Leadership (verbal & written)

  1. Time Efficient: ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  2. Flexible: ability to change direction with agility & speed to meet business needs.
