Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Participating in workshops with key stakeholders to capture user stories.
- Refining user stories, ensuring they have clearly defined and testable acceptance criteria.
- Working closely with the Scrum teams, contributing to functional design and solution
- Ensuring technical solution meets requirements and functional solution.
- Working closely with the QA and SIT test teams to ensure successful rollout of new features.
- Supporting UAT to investigate and assist in resolution of defects raised.
- Demonstrating completed user stories to stakeholders.
- Maintaining functional specifications
- Working closely with Product Owner and other Business Analysts within the program to ensure integrity of the end-to-end solution.
- Applies a detailed business understanding and technical knowledge to create solutions that will aid in delivering tangible business value.
- Work with the business SME’s to identify & analyse redundant and inefficient processes and
- Designs new processes & workflow charts by analyzing requirements,
- Coordinates overall functional design of business systems; integration of business services & information security
- Creates conceptual, logical and physical data model structures along with data attributes, its relationships and dependency rules
Job Requirements
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar discipline Business and functional analysis experience.
- Strong IT Business Analyst/ Functional Design experience.
- Experience in writing and refining user stories.
- In-depth experience of AGILE/SCRUM methodologies
- Demonstrable experience working in a BDD environment
- Work with Product Owner (PO) and team to define Minimum
- Viable Product and subsequent priorities using story mapping
- Ability to elicit requirements to assist in developing product roadmap
- Ability to create effective user stories that follow the INVEST principles
- Experience and skills in process mapping/workflow
- Demonstrable Value Stream Mapping experience
- Engage with external and internal stakeholders in order to gain requirements whilst ensuring full traceability
- Experience of eliciting requirements through workshops, interviews, user groups, surveys or by exchanging correspondence, both individually and with groups
- Ability to ensure Non Functional Requirements are identified and agreed
- Work with the team and the Product Owner to ensure the User Stories are Ready for Play at the appropriate time
- Challenge proposed Epics/User Stories to ensure alignment to vision & objectives of the project
- Showcase developed stories to Product Owners
- Work with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery through Agile methodologies
- Mapping "as is" processes and the modelling of "to be" processes
- Drive discussions around value to ensure outcomes are maximised and output minimised
