Networking and Communications Engineer

Main Job Duties:

• Design, deploy and manage LANs, WANs, wireless networks, including routers,switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, Access Points, IPPBX and other hardware
• Document network designs, configurations and related procedures
• Configure a reliable network that is in line with service level agreements
• Maximize network availability and performance through monitoring, troubleshooting network problems,outages and scheduling upgrades
• Develop and implement policies and procedures, for network administration, usage,and disaster recovery
• Secure network system by establishing and enforcing global access control policies
• Provide on call support or site visit for the network in an outage situation. Be the senior resource to assist with troubleshooting of network related issue
• Provide timely status updates and accurately document problem resolution;-Always aim to minimize downtime and perform rigorous validation testing before implementation
• Develop and maintain detailed network diagrams, documentation and training material as needed
• Take part in day to day operational activities including occasional first level diagnostic support and scheduling upgrades
• Support resolution and root cause analysis of all network incidents and problems.
