Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties.,
- Planning, Studying and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, energy, and labor.
- Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost.
- Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Assisting in Month end close.
- Conducts physical inventories and assist in cycle count.
- Create reports to Monitor product life cycle and obsolete stocks.
- Create a database and workflow for the business process not covered by ERP.
- Assist in analyzing past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills.,
- Sound understanding of management accounting principles.
- Excellent Excel skill...
- Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports.
- Excellent analytical skills, the ability to collaborate with a multi-department team, job costing or process costing experience as well as knowledge of standard costing is essential
Job Requirements.
- Minimum of 2 solid years of Cost Accounting in a Manufacturing Environment.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Maximum age 28.
- Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills.
