Job Description
- To develop methods and implement them, so as to maintain accurate inventory levels
- To develop methods and procedures that would help in identifying and optimizing the common inventory items
- To design policies and procedures that would ensure timely disposal of the dead or obsolete inventories
- To work in coordination with different departments of the organization and to keep a check on the production and sales of the organization
- To conduct audits of the inventories on a regular basis and to ensure that the cycle counts are completed in an accurate manner
- To contact the manufacturers and to return the items which are damaged or obsolete and to file defective goods claims
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting.
- should be able to do simple arithmetical computations fast and should be well aware of the basic office procedures.
- He/she should be well conversant with word processing, spreadsheets, email, database software, etc.
- He/she should be able to follow the oral and written instructions and should be able to enter accurate records of inventories speedily.
- Good problem-solving ability, superior organizational skills, attention to detail, multi-tasking skills, ability to work independently as well as in a team are some of the other required skills that will prove to be of great advantage in this field.
- ERP ODO experience is preferable
