Job Description

  • Maintaining an awareness of all products and services knowledge information; promotions, demo products, and advertisements
  • Managing, recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of the Pre-Sales team.
  • Transfer industry, technical and product knowledge to customers, Sales Team and Presales Engineers via written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Assisting & coaching Presales Engineers in preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and presentations
  • Preparing, and coaching the preparation of, technical/commercial proposals for potential clients as well as maintaining all documentation of such quotes and contracts with accurate pricing and configurations
  • Make sure the proposed value propositions are deeply supported by customers’ technical decision-makers
  • Assisting in getting the products and solutions approved by the consultants
  • Providing technical assistance to the Sales Team with focus on identifying the opportunities and developing new business accounts and verticals as per an agreed upon criteria
  • Identifying market trends to grow incremental revenue/commercial opportunities
  • Being accountable for and managing quarterly account planning/strategy and presales pipeline
  • Monitoring and maintaining, and assuring the maintenance of, accurate records of activity reports submitted by Presales Engineers
  • Study and participate in vendor partnership building activities with PreSales and Management
  • Confidence presenting to a highly skilled and experienced audience, including enterprise architects, consultants, and directors.
  • Collaborate and work positively and effectively with Field Sales team as well as cross-functional groups in Engineering (Development, Service/Support, QA), Marketing and Product Management.
  • Manage POCs and trial processes to customers/partners – from technical to CIO levels.
  • Answer questions, overcome concerns and find solutions to customer/partner problems related to POC/Trial/purchase.
  • Persuade customers/partners of the company products’ value and benefits – explain product architectures, assist with cost justification and pricing issues.

Job Requirements

  • Exceptional presentation and communications capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Fluent English reading and writing
  • Similar previous experience in Networks/Information Security/Telecom presales is preferred.
  • Similar previous experience in one of these sectors (General Business, Telecom, Banking, O&G, Industrial) is preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS OFFICE and other IT tools.
  • Ability to work in a team under pressure & meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel within Egypt or abroad.
