Job Description
- Design, install, configure, test and maintain SAP systems across a variety of platforms and databases.
- Manage and monitor installed systems.
- Proactively ensure the highest level of service availability and security in a 24/7 production environment.
- Provide 3rd level support for Basis Component of SAP systems.
- Maintain a proactive view on the capacity and performance of SAP systems.
- Conduct regular performance analysis to identify and mitigate performance flaws.
- Review SAP Early Watch Alerts and implement the valuable recommendations.
- Enable automation.
- Contribute to and maintain system/service standards.
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
- Develop and maintain security, backup and redundancy strategies.
- Train 1st and 2nd level support teams.
- Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
- Maintain operational, configurational and other procedures.
- Maintain topology, inventory and service specification documents.
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
- Provide consultancy and input to solution design, pre-sales, service delivery.
- Communicate technical and non-technical information to technical support groups, customer support centers and end-users as required.
Job Requirements
- At least 10 years of hands on experience in managing SAP Basis - NetWeaver environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrics/Electronics Engineering or related departments.
- Excellent command of English.
- One or more items of the following technical skill sets are required in line with the ITIL methodology according to the requirements of the position:
- Experience with SAP CRM, ERP, EP, BW, FIORI, PI, SCM, S/4HANA, HANA DB administration.
- Experience with SAP HANA system integration within an SAP Landscape
- Experience with HANA Security, HANA SLT Configuration, HANA System Monitoring and HANA Health Check.
- Experience with SAP related database systems (Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase, DB2, MaxDB, etc.).
- Experience with deploying and managing the SAP Solution Manager functionalities.
- Experience with various operating systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux, Windows, etc.).
