Job Description
Joviality is hiring an energetic, innovative and experienced Content Creator to join the team.
In this role, you will drive our digital marketing growth through strategic planning, development and oversight of the brand identity online including web, social media, e-mail marketing. Proficiency in copywriting and content creation is a must. Bonus points if you have graphic design or photography skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, implement and optimize strategies for website content, and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
- Create and deliver weekly social media calendars
- Create, curate and manage organic and paid social media content (images, video and text)
- Assist with live social media coverage during events
- Build out, design (images, video and text) and execute e-mail marketing campaigns
- Maximize traffic by utilizing Search Engine Optimization keywords
- Promote blog posts using advertisements, emails, social media, and other methods to alert and attract new readers
- Monitor responses to posts via the website, social media, or other platforms to better understand the audience.
- Manage, track and report on success of social media campaigns (organic and paid) on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
- Stay current on industry trends for possible opportunities to attract new readers or create stronger, more engaging content
- Assist the Marketing Department with other projects as needed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in social media marketing for brands or business Agency experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in creating content for social media platforms such as but not limited to Facebook, Instagram
- Excellent writing, editing (images/video/text), presentation and communication skills, including ability to think on one's feet and respond in clear, credible and concise terms
- Demonstrable social media marketing experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Experience in graphic design software is preferred
- Basic knowledge of and ability to apply good photographic techniques.
- Positive attitude, creativity, adaptability, detail oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
