Job Description
- Gather and assesses customer technical needs
- Identify related needs (lead generation, opportunity expansion)
- Identify site-specific parameters and constraints that impact the solution
- Identify probable competition
- Solicit inputs from other experts as required
- Investigate and optimize a solution's fit to the requirements of an opportunity
- Adapt solution design to new requirements
- Anticipate some of the potential challenges for the proposed project plan
- Assist peers in area of expertise as needed
- Maintain excellent communications with customers
- Advance opportunities through the use of effective consultative selling techniques
- Build customer loyalty through being a trusted advisor
- Partner effectively with others in the account to ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction
- Actively support the account team with solution advice, proposals, presentations, and other customer communications
- Engage appropriate additional technical resources as needed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent field
- CISSP, SSCP, CCSP, CSSLP or other industry security focused certification is highly preferred but not mandatory
- Typically 3+ years’ experience in technical consultative selling and account management
